ahnvee is two heartbeats away from being a discount cabana. Still waiting for the alleged Marriott Ritz Carlton to arise from the ashes and ignite the arrival of high end boutique shops. I guess until Feraggomo and Gucci arrive people will continue to buy knock off counterfit crocs

I got that.Just wondered why they are called 'cueros'.Did they used to wear leather coats as uniform for example?

The big difference today is that the 'sight' is now instant social media,not visual.It can now be seen from any viewpoint.
That's made all the difference.

Also just heard that Sosua Lights is moving to High Caribbean.Can't verify the info.Anyone have the inside story on that?

...the mayor of Sosua needs to have educational career job training at the local public school... a chica must attend to get her hoe permit...in these evening classes they will lean how to utilize their phone to do advertising and appointment making with a WhatsApp number...and doing this from home or their favorite bar/restaurant.. thus avoiding the problematic and offensive chasing of the potential customer down the sidewalks..something like this...Hello rental service may I help...yes I am available today , but not at 3.30 pm, I have a opening at 9.00 pm, and it is happy hour.. 2 full hours for the price of one...thank you for calling dial a Hoe...…….

The future of Sosua will be debuting for all who care to see it this weekend. On Saturday night, inside the AHNVEE hotel, The New Skybox Disco will be opening, right in the heart of the new "red light district." Also "Bourbon Street Grill" will be closing at it's current location at the center of Pedro Clisante and on November 1, will be in their new location at the AHNVEE resort.

Most won't realize the gravity of this move by Bourbon Street, speaks volumes.

For those fans of Merengue and Classico, I suggest you pay them a visit in the very near future, it will probably be your last.

The countdown starts Saturday night. The clock is ticking.

This move was suppose to happen back on June 1. Bourbon made a deal with the city that if they left without hassle, the city would grant them a license to be open until 5am at Ahnvee. That is why they are moving.

Just in time for high season there is going to be the casino, Ahnvee and High Caribe in the red light district. Add those to the new place under construction and a 5am closing time, the town is going to be quite popular.

How so? The amenities are about to be split up. The bars will be down in the netherlands (does it still flood there?). The luxurious Europa, New Garden and other hotels are up near Pedro Clisante. Seems like a huge inconvenience. Of course the motos will enjoy some extra traveling. Things aren't all in one tight little area no mo. Plus the PD is still going to continue the harassment campaign on PC.

I think the jury is still out on this.

I agree with you but for crazy reason am hopeful the harassment will at least slowdown. Not sure the world is ready for a red light district where the roundup of women is common.

There was never going to be a Ritz Carlton in Sosua. Not sure why you keep mentioning that.

How about those of you still in denial that any changes would be made at the announcements of the imminent moves of bar/discos from that small section of western Pedro Clisante to the eastern end?

I'm sure they see it as it will be more convenient and less gas consumed.
