Unless it has a wine list I don't go, so I don't run into beer guzzlers that keep tabs on working chicas that have some bizarre disdain for them
Why do you feel the need to put a Label on people ? Those dudes are not all the same , they come from all walks of Life, just like members here some have traveled the world many times ... .. and Sosua is not the only town those guys travel to , you would be surprised who posts there just for fun... Some very well off , others not so much. Some own(ed) businesses right on Pedro C in fact .
IMO, Never tell a grown man how to spend his money ...or where to travel to.

You are talking about something that happened over 10 years ago. In 2007 or some time way back when.
Why not call things for what they are? (I almost used the expression call Sxxxe a Sxxxe, so politically incorrect these days.) ISOC and its whore mongers are one reason why the situation in Sosua exists today. Their promotions was significant. And one of their mods used to be on DR1. I have zero against what consenting adults do in privacy. And neither does the DR government. You don't see action taken against people who are discreet.
One has to used the past to achieve context of the present and see what is likely to happen in the future. I have been following this for 16 years and noticed what the government in Santo Domingo was saying they would like to do. Finally they got the motivation, sure it is in large part from big money - which I also learned about before it was common knowledge, but ignoring all of that would have made me a "Big" doubting Thomas like some posters here.
Have you seen it? Any first hand reports on the new night life center for whore mongers?

Trust me, I really could care less about that site and any others like it. I was just relating some historical information for context.
I haven't been to Anvhee but I might have to stop in sometime to see how the nightly use of the pool bar, the disco and Bourbon Street might affect those "active guests" in their rooms who need to get up at 06:00 to jog on the beach before their tennis game. I am not at all familiar with the layout of the complex nor how the people/party noise might be squelched.
That's strange. Yet you have been following the situation for 16 years and cast disparaging comments every chance you get at the chicas and the gentleman that pursue them. You seem to believe it is some type of sacrilege to you and destroying your personal sanctity. I believe you said you don't live or own in Sosua so why all the anger. I notice many call the chicas "fat" and the men slobs. Yea, like all the woman and men in the U.S and Europe are the epitome of health and fitness. If you don't like the skin trade don't participate and by all means stay out of Sosua as you will get your feelings hurt.
Ahnvee (Bourbon St & Skybox Disco) is PACKED every night. Last night there were well over 300 people at the new Bourbon Street and that was before the Skybox Disco even opened.
Ahnvee is now the absolute epicenter of the new red light district. It has easily absorbed 90% of the patrons who were frequenting the now shuttered businesses on the western end of Pedro Clisante. And as a matter of fact is now employing many of the workers from those businesses and they are still hiring. I've seen former employees of every single Pedro Clisante business that was closed down by the government now working at Ahnvee.
I wonder if the mayor saw Niko "Worldwide's" video of encouraging a Dominican girl to suck another girl's breast on You Tube on the corner of Dr Rosen and Pedro Clisante before she agreed to do the interview.
