Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Government, through the Ministry of
Public Health (MSP), ordered this Friday, through resolution 000048, a series of restrictive measures, after the announcement of the cessation of the state of emergency and the curfew due to the covid -19, protected by the General Health Law, 42.01
The cessation of the state of emergency is from next Monday, October 11, but the following measures will take effect from Monday, October 18, when citizens over 12 years of age must present an identity document and their vaccination card, digitally or physically, with at least two doses of the covid vaccine, to be able to access restaurants, bars, grocery stores, discotheques, sports centers, gyms, shops, shopping malls, casinos and any other entertainment center.
In addition, they must present their card to attend educational centers, whether public or private, of all levels. Also, to attend workplaces with closed spaces, and for collective use. Likewise, to be able to use any public transport system, be it urban or interurban.
