Does the DR have any Abductions/ Kidnappings , in this Area ? Some News Source "experts " are now speculating that a drowning of any Kind , Accidental or otherwise, is very unlikely and that a Kidnapping or abduction is a very real possibility since no body has turned up yet , and should have.
And If you believe HIS Story , an Abduction is not mutually exclusive .
Question is who would be there and what Motive to Kidnap her .
In this case the Hotel Security would be at fault .
Has such a thing ever happened at Punta Cana Resorts
We know it happens a lot in MEXICO ,and Drug Cartels even shoot it out on the beach .
The Media is really hammering the DR on this .
All the media has shown us is the water search and the respective testimonies of the various implicated parties. What was done in terms of a grounds search? Is there a nationwide APB about the missing girl? Where are the dog teams? What areas were covered?

We're neighboring facility employees questioned, maintenance folks, Gardners, housekeeping? Anything with blood? Any personal belongings found. This has been kept quiet so far.

Yes, and don't overlook that there is no record of potato boy reporting this voluntarily. The first we see is when police questioned him sometime after 6pm that day, he gave his first fabled statement. I believe it was the girlfriends that raised a flag with the front desk.
He passed out on a beach chair confused memory and walked back 4 hours later.

The DOGS could have at least ELIMINATED a Kidnapping, dragging off the beach.
But of course they missed that Opportunity, and that site is way too contaminated
Easier to just assume a simple drowning.

I bet some of these PN and Other DR Police EVEN assumed.
" Oh, when she sobers up, after hanging out with some Local druggie , ( after running away from this Novio)
she will re surface again. "
After all , that is what spring breakers do
Would not surprise me at all

Humor or your personal problems aside, you have been claiming that the young lady "obviously" drowned. You have also consistently used cheap shot comments at other posters who feel this may be foul play. That said, please provide a simple bulleted response with your personal supporting evidence to back up the drowning story. How do you know they were even in the water?
Are you serious? They did not go to the beach to play cards...........

Drowning is the 2nd most common death, while vacationing in Caribe, first being Cardiovascular diseases heart attacks stuff like that.
Actually, first is motor vehicle deaths. But yes drowning is generally #2 globally, not just Caribbean. That said, in this case up to this point there's only a very suspect series of varying stories from the person of interest. Going back to any sane human would have reached out to raise a flag upon returning to the hotel at 10am

That would be #1 for all locations travelling abroad globally but not #1 in the Caribbean.

Probably is and linked to underlying health conditions like hypertension, diabetes, or obesity, which may be exacerbated by travel stress, dehydration, or overexertion.

This makes sense. Remember the lates James Gandolfi and Ray Liotta. Both underlying health issues and having major cardiovascular incidents after the evening meal and drinks. Liotta wasnt obese but smoked like a chimney and suffered from hypertension.

Never agree to a police interrogation without a lawyer. And in this case we have already seen the police already leak the interrogation to the media.

Well to be honest if you're researching attorneys in DR as an American and seeking English speaking, GA&A dominates search results.

Some Dominican law firms wouldn't touch this case with a ten foot pole. There is no question as to the depth and breadth of expertise of this firm. It doesn't make cornpone cinnamon top look any less guilty however, as all folks have the right to whatever representation they can afford.

From what I've read, and the reported timelines and details change more than Riibe's story, so correct me if I'm wrong, but the search operation didn't start until two days later. Littoral currents in that area move west-north-west at 1mph-2mph. Two days later, the body could have easily been 50 to 100 miles away. That is a vast expanse of ocean to try and spot a floating body - especially in seas that were reported to be rough. At this point in time, the chances of finding her are a less than slim.

These are basic life fundementals. Just like how to make/receive money transactions or book a hotel stay. Some folks are just not prepared for life

I believe the girl's friends, she was staying with, reported her missing around 4 PM the same day or about 12 hours after she went to the beach.
