Spot on. Could have said it better. They had something and did not see it. There are a large segment in the tourist area that craves this "Modern". Problem is, that is what happens everywhere else. I remember Negril in the 70s. It was hedonistic...now it is "modern". An eyesore. Same thing...

It was a one of a kind place to hang. I loved the beach. I've been to Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica...this was the best beach I have found to spend the day at. They could have improved what they had and it would have been a wonderful draw. It's very sad that they want this beach...

I hesitate to make a comment about anything here but if the incoming US government were to benefit the DR in any way, it would be purely coincidental. Be clear, no government cares about the DR unless they can take something from her. The DR will start getting it's criminals back as will Haiti...

At the end of the video you can see the plaza closest to the town. Not good.

I had heard they were going to deny access to Dominicans crossing from Charamicos to Sosua and back for work. They want them to walk the highway. Who knows, so many rumors. I get the feeling, Sosua beach will not be a beach that most want to go to anymore. Does not sound inviting.

I hope you are right. The rentals will be run by the plazas? Maybe service to the chairs they rent? Near the middle which is the best part of the beach. Maybe the prices will be reasonable.

Do you really think that will be allowed once the condos go up? Those are my favorite days on the beach. That would be great.

Yes. It is about money full stop. Lots of money going into pockets.
