Looks like as Mike said the resorts at Cap Cana were the closest to the storm so they took the brunt of it. I have only seen photos for SCC and Sanctuary at this point.
I really want to say thanks to anyone who helped, shared stories, pictures, videos and keep everyone informed and most important, everyone is safe!

i have a feeling the tail end of this storm is going to be heavy rain in Santo Domingo tonight. Winds are picking up.
really? my wife said its quiet just light rain but maybe that will change tonight

It's stormy. A lot of lightening and some quite heavy rain and gusts of wind. But coming and going. We are sitting on my terrace no problem. It's nothing like the weather they have had on other parts of the island but it's a bit stormy
Radar images looks that way. ATM it's raining just a little. hopefully dominos will get here soon. I ordered it 40 minutes ago and it's still not in the oven. Called over there and they are swamped with orders. Apparently, everybody ordered pizza tonight. So, there's a little delay i suppose. But I always feel bad if they are driving their motos through a storm.
my wife had pizza from papa johns 2 hours ago and it took hour and 20 min to get pizzas to the house so yeah in the captial, everyone is staying home and ordering foods. its crazy.
just moments ago, fiona is now at 109mph and it'll be cat 3 shortly and once it reaches Turks and Caicos Islands, it will be cat 4 hurricane tommorrow.
then behind it is another storm that could possibly form, it's coming together i guess. the yellow shows the potential trajectory i guess.
dang you have so many apps open on your desktop..... if that storm brews up, pray it'll miss this time
