Once in a while when I go to Sosua grocery shopping I'll do the loop(Dr Rosen, Dr. Alejo Martinez, Pedro Clisante.). It's dead except for a few spandex queen stragglers. PC looks tacky, tacky, tacky, and gets tackier all the time. Time to stick a fork in Sosua.
When these Sosua threads die out that’s when we now it’s over. Just like the threads on Juan Dolio becoming the South Beach of the Caribbean.

That would be Jazzy's. Burned in 2006. 9 died because they were locked in the place. Back then there were close to 300 strip/girly bars in SD.

Sosua has become extremeley tacky. Not just the tired, broken-down fat hookers. The clientele they service are fat waddling old men from New York and New Jersey who haven't missed a greasy meal in 40 years.
I'm surprised with all the Viagra being handed out, and booze consumed that we don't hear of more Monger's heart attacks.
Curiosity I guess, but mostly to confirm that, contrary to what is said here sometimes, PC is going downhill and continues to do so. It's not even remotely like what it used to be years ago. I only swing around the loop every 3-4 months on my way to Playero. Only takes a couple minutes.
I think PC started its downward Spiral when the Late night Food Trucks were kicked out . Maybe I am weird, but There was just something magical about getting a geezy sammich at 4 AM,.. That for me was a clear signal of the atmosphere changing forever
What was hysterical afterwards were all the attempts they made to ENCLOSE the Bars to hide the goings on inside . Every attempt Iliana Neuman and her Ilk made Failed. Then they went after the Bar owners , and that failed as well.
Sosua is self destructing just fine on its Own , Organically.. No help was ever needed .. it wont be long now . them weekend warriors are on a Mission .

Anyone here remember when PC was a nice, shady, tree-lined street with no cheap Chinese junk stores with their tacky, skid-row store signs and the girls were wearing jeans, not spandex, and didn't look like prime candidates for Weight Watchers?
