Yeah, good point, Bob...women tend to get so bored that they ask to be beat up so that they can post photos of their disfigured face on the internet. Because, nothing says "Bored" then being beat nearly to death.
Police 101: The husband.
my instincts tell me that she lasts 15 minutes under a professional police grilling, and comes clean.
59 pages and counting ...... when will it end...I think it was Colonel Mustard with the lead pipe
From my experience, prices aren’t cheap in the summer since kids are out of school. I have been to this AI in the summer a couple yrs ago and price was around $250 a night.
What does any of that have to do with the topic of the thread, of a woman being attacked and left for dead on a resort???

Problem is they will never interrogate this Husband or her .., since it happened on Dominican soil, someone correct me if i am wrong.. .
Yeah, if local PD every got a hold of him they would drag out the truth.
You can see a scenario where the Dom cops figured it out (inconsistencies in the husbands statements) and just let it go because they would not be able to prove anything. So the couple just go home to the States. Similar to how Domestic Violence against a wife was handled back in the 50's/60's.
If he is behind it, I think the wife will be the one to finally figure it out. She's obviously not a dummy, he'll eventually slip up and give something away. Hopefully before he kills her.
I really think some of you have no idea how the Dominican police work. Rape kit, DNA, forensics - this is the DR not the USA, UK, Canada wherever. When I was attacked four months ago the police (and there were three police forces involved and it was in the press) did zero, zilch, nada forensic work. When I arrived at the hospital, no one bagged my clothes, no one checked under my fingernails, no rape kit was done (they didn't even ask if I had been raped - luckily I wasn't), no photographs taken, nothing. When the police came to my house, on several occasions, no fingerprints were taken from anywhere, no search of the property or search of his escape route. Not one single part of forensic evidence was taken. I cannot see how anyone would doubt this lady's story. Shame on some of you.
Matilda
I would like to agree with Matilda; to speculate on such matters without evidence and only here-say is to ignore the generally accepted morale thought of ''Innocent until proven guilty''... The two key words being ''innocent'' and ''proven''.
I don’t know if its by states or federally, or how it works; but, I have seen a suspect extradited from the USA to the DR. Its usually the opposite route, but I have seen it and countries have a reciprocal agreement.Problem is they will never interrogate this Husband or her .., since it happened on Dominican soil, someone correct me if i am wrong..
