Wow! Being a film buff I look forward to its completion.

In the Blue Mall:

They've done a really nice job on the movie theater, it was pretty chintzy before, out of character with the rest of the mall.

It's a thousand times nicer now.

The real improvement is inside! All the seats, sound system, screens, equipment and more was upgraded 100%.

But I guess the biggest improvement for the city will be the new project that will bring privately run theaters to run Broadway performances with the latest in technologies and acoustics.

Art and Culture are quickly catching up to the country as they should, as the DR's moves from a middle class to an upper middle income class level.

Sambil SD will have one of those new theaters soon in operations.

Sambil Santiago will have the first of three slated for the second city...

Soon most Broadway's shows will come to the DR and many will stay put in the East coast for tourists.

By "Broadway shows" are we refering to cinema or proper shows? Either way I don't think most tourists come for that.
