I use DOMEX, and they too require my ID if I send someone else to pick up my packages. @bwpgt3 , is this package being sent to a recipient at the same BMCargo location listed on your account? If so, I suggest you give that location a call too, explaining the situation. Be ready with the name and account number of your recipient too, I realize you said you e-mailed the distro center in Miami, but with the huge volume they deal with, I would almost guarantee that will get screwed up somehow. And, if they do indeed make the change to the number, you probably won't get any further e-mailed status updates or be able to track it online.

If your recipient already has a BM Cargo account number, you don't need a BM Cargo account to send anything to them. You won't be receiving any notifications. If you opened an account, you're sending it to yourself and the recipient will probably need authorization to pick it up.

Another shipping question. Lo Siento!

Has anyone used BM Cargo for shipping amazon purchases from the US to DR? I have registered with them, have my number and have shipped my amazon order to the Doral, FL address.

My question is, what now? The site is in spanish and I can translate it but is not clear about each step in the process. My recipient has a number but I'm very unclear as to what I need to do once the shipment gets to Miami. How do the customs issues work, what paperwork needs to filled out? Lots of questions and no easy answers.
Thank you all for your insight.
I have been using BM cargo for the past 6 years never a problem very simple the rates are decent

I remember I used to upload the Amazon invoice on their BM Cargo website (even for $25 order). Once it arrived at their office in DR, get an email and pick it up from there.. (this was 2023).

Few years ago had to fill up a customs form too, a one time registration thing, was easy to do.

Use Google Translate on the website pages if not clear...
