Thanx Chris for the input. Sorry folks but just don't do temperatures! If you live here - it's cold!! I've been under a duvet since the 1st of October! My tourist guests have generally stuck with only a sheet but this last week or so they've been addding an extra blanket. We've been as cold as 17 deg C in the nights but generally it's above that. We have had very dry nights with little or no humidity so that makes it feel a bit cooler and the winds have had a bit of a chill in them. This year has been colder than I can remember and I've used my sweater most evenings and sometimes during the day - it's all relative to what you're used to? Day time temps have been up there in the low 30's (deg C) and when the sun shines it can get quite warm.
Coming from Denmark - you'll be fine and probably find it nice and warm!
Yesterday we had a nice day with good winds but it did rain quite heavily in the late evening.
This morning - it's rather dull at times with quite a lot of cloud about but the winds are picking up and the sun is coming out. I found the beach rather chilly this morning but there are tourists out and about in just their bikinis, and that's not always a pretty sight!
Sea surf is quite good out on the reef but the tides are still high and the beach erosion continues - all of the palms on the beach in Cabarete bay now have exposed roots and there's a lot of washed up debris about.
Fingers crossed for a sunny day, but don't bet on it!!
Any volunteers to do the weather thing from the 14th Feb to around the 16th March? (I won't be available for that period I'm afraid).
