he only has 2years here give him time he will change his rose color out look after he gets burnt .maybe a fender bender accident when he is not in the wrong and will have to pay because he is gringo, also you can see it on his wife face she wants to go back she knows she is Dominican. he is making good coin with that channel. But he doesn't know the real DR
He's not going to hurt the brand he's trying to build. So he's not going to shown the real DR. Anything bad he will say it's just a minor inconvenience. LOL Gots to sell that dream!!

I agree that taking everything you see on YouTube or social media at face value shows a lack of respect for yourself.
Right! I respect myself too much to do that!

The issue is Cheryl has not sold more than $1B in real estate. Nor does she own all the KW realty offices in the DR. Agree Punta Cana Village is one of the better places, we have friends that live there. But that does not make the video true. Cheryl was working with her husband, not sure now. The inventory in Punta Cana is the same, some of the places she is trying to "sell" are the same places she tried to show me. Mind you this was a few years ago. But the places are still for sale. She was working with the builder that built Palm Suites, Rosa Hermosa and Mia Hermosa but I see the same condos still available she was trying to sell. I was actually surprised to see the video given most anyone in Punta Cana that knows the realty circle knows this is not true.
I agree with you James is new to DR he will look back and say what a mistake

I've met lots of gringos who live in a bubble down here. They tend to gravitate towards areas like Punta Cana. Most seem to self-absorbed or to oblivious having no idea what life is really like for the average Dominican... nor do they care.

Supposedly he left a 400,000 career to move here. I understand people do leave high paying positions, but a wife and kid to start over in the DR?
His wife is from Higuey, but they met in usa at their job.

He was her boss... Now it seems she's the boss. He seems a little bitter, passive aggressive when they make videos together.

Like he is trying to make the best of being here but really doesn't want to be here.

But his wife runs the show so he has no choice (typical gringo y Dominicana relationship).

I think he mentioned thats how they choose Punta Cana because his wife wants to be close to her family in Higuey.

Typical newbie youtuber with rose colored glasses, think they all know everything only after couple years here. They usually fizz out after few years.

I remember seeing the real estate lady billboards a few years ago in PC on the billboards she was Remax affiliated.

And as far as owning all the KW in the country if true its not hard to do its probably 3 locations in total. Usually north, santo domingo and punta cana area. When you get the franchise for DR you automatically get the whole country. $1 Billion still seems a bit much.

Punta Cana (Cap Cana included) is by far the trashiest, most soulless, generic part of the island.

This lady, Cheryl Henderson has sold over $1 Billion USD worth of real estate and how she made it through so give or take, that convert into $62,334,702,857.70 RD Pesos. Guess what? She OWNS every Keller Williams all over the country. The video, beware, it's 2 hour long but great content. Enjoy.

So it's on YOUTUBE. It must be True.

Owning a Keller Williams franchise is probably about 200k plus for start-up, so there is no way Cheryl owns all of them. Maybe she owns the franchise in Punta Cana. There is a lot of inventory in Punta Cana (as elsewhere), I do not see it moving quickly. I know the condos we saw in Palm Suites for example have been for sale for a while. It looks like they are being rented out in the meantime. As with the condo in Rosa Hermosa. IMO when people make these videos it is because they need the business, not because they have made $1B in sales.

Unless she had exclusivity for the island. No idea how that works.

Cheryl William's likes to post her photos on billboards in Punta Cana it gives the Americans that are looking to buy a sense of security they say on look she is one of us and speaks English but I would not buy a dog house from her.

Remax has always been an "in your face with billboards" since I can remember. I would recognize Melido Marte anywhere.

Real Estate sellers have even less credibility here than lawyers...........They lie when they say hello....
Are you kidding? Of course not. I can't begin to remember how many I've met over the years.

Some are poor, and some are rich (not from commissions) and they are everywhere. There are hundreds on FB and Corotos and all of the other on line classifieds.

Remember the story I told last week about the woman with the store in Bella Vista? Yep, she's a real estate agent.

A few years ago, I inquired about a property in Samana. I asked the real estate agent if the property had a title and deslinde. She said she did not know but I could just buy property insurance. 🤨🧐😳🤥

Blue Collar Town in New Jersey
I tried to do a Comparison. and there are BROKERS who are well known, with Bill boards ,and massive advertising back her in the States . who barely crack a Billion in Sales in Some Years ... many years they do 500-700 Mil .. So this woman is definitely smoking some good Shit if she is claiming she does a Billion in Sales . I am guessing she does not even comprehend that a Billion is 1,000 times a Million . I have met MORONS like that who literally think a BILLION is TEN Times a Million .. Wish I were joking .. and they say it with a Straight Face .

Every single realtor I have met in DR claims to have sold hundreds of properties, yet they all wear cheap old clothes and rock around in basic cars. The numbers never stack up.
