Does the Sambal Oelek have garlic in it? I can get that by the gallon..

You want Garlish, use the Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce, same heat, heavy Garlish.

Yeah, I use Kim Chi base, same thing. I've got 8 32oz squeeze bottles of homemade condiment blends. Orange/Ginger Garlic is another good one for wings and Gen Tsao.

I'm a little worried about the move to Higuey. They have a LaSirena, but I really don't know what they carry.

I used to see this at Sirena but they stopped carrying it. Yes it was pretty good for being almost generic.

Where is the Dollar Store in Sosua?

I am pretty sure thats where we got it, when I see things like that I tend to buy 2 or 3 so they are in the Pantry for awhile
The Dollar store is across the street from Super Pola , Behind the Meat Store I think it is . On the hill as you go down on the left.

We bring special sauces and spices from home whenever we return. It is amazing what you crave when you're here.

My recipe is to mix the wings in a flour mix first (mixed with cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper, and salt), shake the flour with the wings in a box to cake flour mix on the wings, let it stand in the fridge for 90mins (optional), then fry them in Canola oil until golden brown. Drain the grease by letting it soak on paper towels for a few mins.

Then put the fried wings in a plastic box with the wing sauce and shake it, to cover the wings evenly with sauce.

ok, so the sauce goes on cooked wings. could i use it on albondingas or just fried chikin strips? sounds like easy and fun way to add some flavour.
