HIghly doubtful that method is available.
A few weeks ago I called to schedule an appointment and ultimately got a recording stating the home tests were completely booked. Every subsequent attempt to schedule got me the same response. I had hoped to be able to get a tester to come to my office and test everyone at the same time.
The only reason I even tried was to have it covered by insurance.
It was much simpler for me to buy a box of 40 and administer them myself. That is what I have been doing every 15 days with my employees.
Well, Mr. Jones, as they say......
timing IS everything.
I just received a test this morning in my current location, here in Guayacanes. The test was requested on Monday morning at 10am, and my insurance information (Humano) was submitted within ten minutes following said request. Yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon at 4:45pm, I received confirmation from the Referencia Lab in San Pedro de Macoris that a technician would be responding to my location this morning (Wednesday) at 9:40am, and to insure that I would be present at my location.
The technician arrived this morning at 10:20am, accompanied by a security driver, in a dark green Honda civic, with of course.....tinted windows.
The technician was wearing typical lab gear, and in front of my location donned a paper gown, paper booties, mask and face shield, and then entered my premises with a small tackle box and cooler.
On my coffee table, the technician laid out a sheet of paper (the kind doctors roll out on exam tables), my paperwork, and the testing utensils, and then asked me to confirm the spelling of my name on the paperwork.
After a quick study, and affirmation, she asked if I was ready? She then inserted the skewer type testing probe up my right nostril, until it felt like it was touching my eye. She removed the skewer stick, and repeated the process with my left nostril. Eye included.
She then sealed the probes/samples in a vile, and entered them into the cooler, and handed me the receipt with my unique username + password to receive my results within 72 hours from their web site.
As she was leaving, I asked her how many home visits does she do daily? She told me she averages 20-25 different homes per day, but sometimes the residences have more than one person receiving the test. She is not the only examiner for her office location.
Time of Arrival: 10:20am
Time of Departure: 10:27am
Why you, nor your employees were unable to receive the same treatment I just did is beyond me. Perhaps you can try visiting the office in person for a request to visit, as sometimes phone lines can indeed be difficult to deal with.
All in all, it took longer for me to type and share this posting than to receive the exam. My eyes are still throbbing.
