If I recall, it's $RD50 from Sosua to Puerto Plata.

the taxi drivers are the mafia in sosua !! they think they run ****.... ****-em ! i use the publico's all day long... you can go for 50 pesos with 4 other people packed in the car or you could buy the car out and drive comfortable for 250 pesos or just the back seat for 150 pesos.... if you could build a repore w one of these publico's, take his number n pay him to pick you up n wait for a fraction of what you pay these scumbags taxi guys !!

Blahhhhh....just got quoted $25...from the airport.. My husband said the last guy was from the condo unit we rented
and that would be why we got the $20..not sure if he is an actual taxi or just does driving.

Uber still only in Santo Domingo and Santiago. Anyway they can take you to the airport but can't pick you up. I had this problem in Santo Domingo. Otherwise uber is really cheap in comparison to airport taxis
