There is no doubt to anyone with even minimum observation skills that the DR has numerous areas to improve to be a fully developed country but if you know where they wwere to where they are now now the changed have been positive in most areas. HDI has increased from .600 to .767 in less than 20 years.

?? You must make a face-to-face appointment with an immigration and customs enforcement agent. He goes over your documents and fingerprints and photographs you. They do a background check; you must pay, and they mail you the I.D card. It's good for several years. When you renew it the process does not require a face-to-face visit. When you land in the States the kiosk will take your picture and you are in country. It is worth every bit of the hassle to get it.
Big I think you are confused , you are talking about USA procedures for USA global entry , WE are referring to new Dominican system Which I don’t know the oficial name of it so I will call it “DOMINICAN global entry “

I ve knows it’s that this same can be reverse and ask the opposite question …

HAS ANYONE HAS HAD long delays at DR customs at the time departure ( DR custom stamp booth ) ?
