One of the most annoying men on the planet.
Whip smart and widely popular and you cannot get past a narrow sexist view?

Most grown ups I know value people for their worth not their appearance.
No one twists your arm to watch her.
Posters here with an agenda look for comments made back in time that have since been updated in an effort to show errors.
Who gives a damn about her sexual orientation.

just irritating, not serious at all

No other symptoms

That is just how I feel about that particular man.

I watch ALL versions of fake news, including that man because I want to see as many different perspectives as possible. There is virtually now news on that show, but a very "enlightening" view of how some twisted people think does show through. The person's net worth I estimate to be negative. Except for a very small amount of comic relief.

That is a woman? I had no idea.

By the way, watch whatever you want to. I could care less. I will continue to watch what I want to. I could care less what you think about that.

The two us us here have a bit of a runny nose and maybe some mild congestion as well as a more pronounced cough than usual. Neither of us feel sick. Not ill enough to warrant venturing out to pay for a covid test. I've set an arbitrary date of Jan 8 (10 days) to be over whatever is causing these symptoms. now just waiting, monitoring and hoping the situation doesn't get worse. Good luck to you WW.

Sounds like your vaccine is working for you and that is a good thing. Unfortunately depending on the cocktail, not everyone has been as lucky.

Remember - I was in a hose of full of CV19.... and escaped unscathed.... perhaps thanks to 3x Sinovac...
even if our auto specialist & others disagree

Lots of conflicting data floating around out there

New report from Reuters says the Pfizer booster after Sinovac ain't so good.... Yale study in cahoots w. Rep Dom

Sinovac COVID-19 shot with Pfizer booster less effective against Omicron - study

https://www.reuters.com/business/health … 021-12-31/

Sinovac's two-dose COVID-19 vaccine followed by a booster Pfizer-BioNTech shot showed a lower immune response against the Omicron variant compared with other strains, according to a study by researchers.

The study, which has not been peer-reviewed yet, was conducted by researchers from Yale University, the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Health and other institutions.

Perhaps time for DR government to review giving Pfizer boosters?

Antibodies are not the only body defence in keeping one safe. DR still has 4 million Sinovac doses according to the Minister two days ago so maybe it is time to use these shots?

One more time Bob. NO ONE ever said that vaccinations stop the spread of Covid. What it does do is keep you allive when you do get it. And you WILL get it..........................
What blatant BS. Once again SKY you are wrong (persistently)
Maybe you think we have short memories but the narrative has only now changed now that vaccines have failed. So now it's "Oh they just keep illness mild".

Remember this :

"Now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person," Maddow said on her show the evening of March 29, 2021.

"A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus, the virus does not infect them, the virus cannot then use that person to go anywhere else," she added with a shrug. "It cannot use a vaccinated person as a host to go get more people."

And Maddow was not the only dude saying this.

Mar 10/21...1st Pfizer shot.
June 11/21...2nd " " shot.
Nov 19/21...regular flu shot.
Nov 19/21...pneumonia shot.
Dec 14/21...Booster Pfizer shot.

Around my parts we are more concerned with the welfare of our healthcare systems than we are with the health of the recalcitrant unvaxxed population.
They have been telling us non-stop that they neither need nor want need help from the healthcare community.
We should listen to them.
Now...
If they would just stop over-running our clinics and hospitals....

She was probably right on that particular strain of the virus. Viruses know no boundaries and they don't watch TV or listen to talking heads that think they know everything.

This fourth or 5th variant is weaker but is a lot more contagious than its predecessors and didn't get the memo about vaccines. I am still convinced that vaccines work. By the time we get to the 20th or 30th variant maybe the powers that be will just let it run it's course.

The world narrative has change to allow OMICRON to be the variant that "will just let it run it's course".
Talk by medical professionals of "herd immunity" and Omicron being "the final injection" are all the rage.

The key to "herd imunity" is that even if the one becomes infected there are too few suspectible hosts to maintain transmission.

Can we get over this idea now?
