Power just went out 20 minutes ago east side of Cabarete. I'm surprised it lasted this long with the rain. Raining pretty hard steadily since late late afternoon. I expect a lot of flooding tomorrow.

Power off for at least CABT102 in Cabarete . Report numbers are 104905 and 106728 . Looks like the traffic light at La Cienaga road is off as well.

One would think one would be more careful where they put up their Xmas trees:

On X

We inform that line 69 kV Playa Dorada – Sabaneta de Yásica will open by emergency to remove a Christmas tree that is very close to the line, located in the Cabarete sector, near Scotiabank Bank. This opening will be carried out for a period of 30 minutes.

There was preventive cutting yesterday listed on twitter for trees, and my power on CABT102 was out from about 12:30 PM to just after 4 PM. Maybe they cut longer further east?

Power off on part of CABT102 since 9 AM. they are "working on it" . Slowly, somewhere, maybe...
We have been getting some rains that stopped for the moment.

Power has been going on and off like a strobe light for the last two days on CABT101 because of the rain. As soon as the lights go off, I immediately know it's raining.

Power is still off for my part of CABT102, yet they say they are working on. Over 5 hours now..

Congratulations to EdeNorte for cutting power for the 9th straight day. They seem to be off at least 4 hours everyday now.
I think it's a race to see which crumbling infrastructure completely collapses first: the Water, Electricity or roads.

I'm guessing you haven't seen the news where it was announced there will be planned outages every day from Mondays to Fridays?

As of today, I'm 100% off grid with 6.5K worth of solar wattage and more than enough battery storage to keep me "energized".. Edenorte can kiss my ass. Next is getting rid of coraapplata. Haven't had water here in two months.
