Is that section of the road between Puerto Plaza and Don Cesar Residencial open now ? I saw some time ago on FB that it was closed and I want to be sure before booking accommodation down the road in C.Italia/Hispaniola. Thank you in advanceI was there about two weeks ago. It looks pretty much finished. Instead of one long building, they separated them into sections. They also have several fire hydrants in between the buildings. They widened the road so the traffic flows better there. Looked good but I just drove by quickly.
I am not sure where you mean. We came in from the El Limón side, and drove all the way past Playa Colibri. I hope that helps. Is that section of the road between Puerto Plaza and Don Cesar Residencial open now ? Is this the final version or it will also burn down before it’s fifth anniversary?
They should give up the idea of building it of wood and do the whole thing in cinderblocks and cement.
Thank you, you would have had to drive down the beach road which means it is fine now. Much appreciated !I am not sure where you mean. We came in from the El Limón side, and drove all the way past Playa Colibri. I hope that helps.
$10K pesos/mo sounds very reasonable.are there any restaurants now operating in the Fisherman's Village? someone told me the rent was $10,000 a month for the smallest building
It is always a good idea to make sure we are talking dollars or pesos. Neither makes sense to me here.$10K pesos/mo sounds very reasonable.
we're talking US dollars not funny moneyIt is always a good idea to make sure we are talking dollars or pesos. Neither makes sense to me here.
Sounds like that space will stay vacant then. There is quite a lot of vacant commercial space in Las Terrenas.we're talking US dollars not funny money
Hold on a second - you're telling me a fish shack in Las Terrenas rents for 600,000 pesos a month?we're talking US dollars not funny money
Of course it does not. But as John said 10,000 pesos..............Hold on a second - you're telling me a fish shack in Las Terrenas rents for 600,000 pesos a month?
Sorry, I don't believe it.
Las Terrenas is probably not that different to the Sosua or Bávaro market. I don't know what type of tenants they are expecting. Maybe it is the annual lease then.Of course it does not. But as John said 10,000 pesos..............
