Juan Dolio~ Off and on overcast and windy today. Darker clouds over the ocean. As of 5 minutes ago it is raining...not heavy, but raining. Looks like it might settle in for a while, but who knows?

ha ha,
Hey,
most of those AI Hotels claim to be 5 Stars, at least they write such on their online brochures,
so their Breakfast should be suitable Quality wise for our Fishies, lol.

HB, no plans to visit Your Family at Cap Cana during the next 3 weeks?
my Baby Sis and Family are here til July 19th and we will sure prepare a good number of small Dorados in the Oven during the next 3 weeks, and end of July and during August I will run a good number of Blue Marlin Cahrters, on that High Speed Trolling we always get great Wahoo hits, Wahoo/locally named also Guatabana is for tyhe Oven my personal favorite, even over Dorado, mmmmhhh.

Juan Dolio~ Major downpours most of the night, but the wind was coming from the west on this one. Pool full to the brim!
Sun peeked out briefly for a few minutes earlier. No rain now, but the day's not over yet~

Lunch is finished,
Time to hit da Beach again,
weather is too perfect today to ignore that

we are here on the East full Sunny and Hot since early morning on.
the first hours we had a light wind on the beach, felt great, nothing than Heat to feel now.
no clouds in the Sky in vicinity, Radar over the Eastern Offshore Waters shows Nothing, 50 miles radar from the Boats fishing 25nmls East of PC does not show anything out there up in the Skies neither,
looks like a sunny hot rest of the week and weekend here.

over all on the Sat the Island looks clear and should stay so til the weekend.
there are cloudy Areas moving from the SE Bahamas and from the Turks towards the SE, but it can not be seen if they are Rain or wind or just a Cloudpattern.

Tropical Formation wise nothing to expect near our Lovely Isle for at least 5 Days, we are on a Hot and Humid Low Wind Phase, Atmosphere surrounding our Island is mostly Dry.

full sunny again today here on the Eastern Shores, a nice fresh Breeze feels great on the Skin.

we have quiet a waterload hanging south of Puerto Rico and over the southern Mona Channel, moving Westward towards the DR-Southern shores Saona Island, bayahibe, La Romana etc.
here on the East we will have an other perfect Beach Day, nothing out of the Ordinary to expect.

the Atlantic Basin and Caribbean Sea show today 2 HotSpots in case of Tropical Hurricane Season Activity.

a Surface Trough is moving ofer the Gulfshores of Florida, movement of the System is Northwards, it will not get any significant Tie over Water to develop into anything other than to bring Rain to S/SE USA, nothing special.

number 2 is a Area of Disturbed Weather interacting with a Tropical Wave East of the Windward Islands, moving Westward into the Southern Caribbean Sea. close proximity to Land and surrounding conditions will not allow significant Development. the System will move during the remainder of this week westward along the Northshores of the Soutamerican Continent in the Southern Caribbean Sea.

all is far away from Us, so Zero Danger out there at this moment, but such of course has it's influence on Our own weather.
we will stick to a comfo Breeze, which IMHO is much better than the Quiet windfree heat, Ocean on the Eastshores been extremely calm since a while, it will raise during the next 24hrs to it's average 4-6ft Level, nothing special, No Storm in Vicinity for the next Days.

the Trough in the Gulf shows a surprising development this Eve,
the Florida panhandle will get it's share of Rain together with a strong Breeze,
as the system moves very slow Northwards it may even become or nearly become a Tropical Deporession.

the System SE of the Windward Islands sticks to the predictions from this morning, no development visible during the whole Day, proximity to the Equator does not allow much spin anyways, just some rain for the Northshores of South America.

here on the East we had an other perfect full sunny Beach Day,
wind been a comfo nice Breeze before Noon, then it changed a few Times going down to Zero and coming back up to a 10 Knots.
right now the Air moves strange, it is on a change. the actual Breeze comes softly on maybe 8mphr out of the East, but it looks like a shioft towards the SE'ern direction. if it shifts tonight to blow out of the SE'ern side the wind will die down and not run more than on 5mphr in the Wee hours, we will see, actually it looks like a shift, it smells like such.

so for tomorrow morning I expect the inshore Sea to be very calm, low wind and the Heat up and running from early on.
it should also calm down a bit the Offshore Sea which been quiet nasty today, average level been on the usual 5ft Level, but some Areas out there blew some quiet strong winds with up to 8ft Swells.

over all no changes to expect to the expected outlook from the last couple days,
Sunny Skies, French Fried Guests, a great Time on da Beach and many Fishies on Board.

'nite

good mornining from again perfect and cloudfree sunny Eastern Skies.

the windshift late last night been a short one, our Breeze this morning is a low one of maybe 8mphr out of the usual East again,
Puerto Rico and the whole Mona Channel are clear, so we will have an other fully Sunny Hot Humid Beachday today here on the Eastern Shores of the Isle.

the nearest Moisture in the Skies is located East of Puerto Rico/over the Virgins, and that one is heading Northeast wards out on open Sea, away from the islands.

Invest 96L in the Gulf of Mexico lost all chances to develop in anything Tropical or Subtropical, nothing more than a bit of Rain to await there.

the Disturbance SE of the Windward Islands died in the Wee hours, no development to expect there neither, just some needed Rain for portions of the Northern Coastline of the Southamerican Continent.

the Atmosphere over the Highway is actually dry, no kinda deevelopment of anything to expect out there for many days,
so for this weekend we will just keep da BBQ running and the cold Beers on da Beach flowing.

Happy Weekend everyone and everywhere

welcome to a new and again sunny week on the Eastern Shores or the DR.

Yes,
we have the next Disturbance in the same Area where the last one disappeared a couple days ago,
located a 500 Miles SE of the Windward Islands,
moving quickly on almost 20mphr Westward.
chances for Development are very low due close proximity to the Equator and a very Dry Environment on it's Westward Path.
some showers for the southern Windward Islands and the NE'ern Shores of South America should be all that will come out of it.

Our own sweet lil Isle looks Quiet for the next Days,
here on the Eastern Shores we are on a Typical/average 10 Knots Breeze out of the East,
Radar over the Virgins and Puerto Rico shows clear Skies all around, so nothing more than small Cloudcells should appear here and there once in a while, If any appear over here.
Sea is on it's average 4-5ft, Beaches are calm,
looks like an other perfect Beachtime Week ahead.

off to Hit Macao Beach for some hours of Surfing Fun with my Godson this afternoon

Yeeeehaaa,
for around 20 minutes I could hear some Thunder and I even saw lightnings out here in Cabeza de Toro,
been a quicky of a Summer Heat Unload, Rain lasted maybe 15 minutes, zero wind to be felt, the Palm Leafes do not move around here, Ocean is nice calm and we will have an other stunning perfect Sunny Beach Day tomorrow.

the Eastern Skies over the Mona Channel are all clear, nothing bad to expect from there.

the Highway and the Caribbean Sea show actually the mid level of the Atmosphere as Dry,
Surface Pressure ranges around 1016mb and looks constant,

nothing to expect in case of Stormy Development for the next Days from our East nor South,
and as the Highways shows a nice Volume of Dry Air Up there all around the most "possibilities" for anything would be located in the Caribbean Sea/SE of the Windward Islands, but actually nothing to await from anywhere.

Boat and Crew will have their very well earned Day Off tomorrow/Wednesday after several consecutive weeks of work,
if Ya search for a Reason for a good Party, a TS will not be available as a Party Reason this week, but Friday will be the Full Moon of July, reason enough to enjoy Life and Party as long as we can.

and remember Your Wifeys that Father's Day is coming closer here in the DR,
let them get "Our" Celebration surprises ready.

Mike
