Santo Domingo.? The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts downpours, thunderstorms and scattered winds for this afternoon over the Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and border area.

Onamet said the weather conditions are the result of a tropical wave located over our country and the humidity dragged by the East-Northeast wind.

It seems hotter than usual, but maybe it's cause I'm not at work, which has great A/C.

Good Morning and "ditto" the above for our HOT weather. Seas flat this AM. Have a good one and be careful of the sun and heat. :)

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorological Office (ONAMET) informs that the approach of another tropical system, located to the east of Puerto Rico yesterday afternoon, will lead to a slight increase in downpours and thunderstorms in the south east, south west, central mountains and border regions. Forecasters say that temperatures will remain high.

The weather patterns will continue to be dominated by humidity and instability caused by a weather system to the northeast of the country combined with east-south easterly winds, causing thunder and lightning.

This system is associated with a tropical system located some 1,490km to the east of the Lesser Antilles with a 10% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone between today and tomorrow. Another tropical system is observed to the west of the African coast.
