P.S. f you have highspeed internet my i suggest Hulu.com

Many have tried from here in the DR but it does not work. So the work around is HotspotShield.

It a small program you install and run , Hulu sees you ip and believes you are in the USA.

With it you can see Hulu and other media sites like NBC.com ABC.com ect and see full episodes.

Hulu is great. it has Movies and TV shows. Give it a try.

NO DISHNET no worries , plenty of ways to still see what you want to see.

Don't Fear and buy into the propaganda

TV is still free and will be free.

Very interesting

If you like Sky and you have your Pansat or Viewsat, you can move your dish to point to Amazonas 61W.

you will get the same amount as sky . It's like dish network but for latin america.

It's a good option for those with FTA units until N3 is cracked

Thanks for the info! Are there any files to download? I am ordering my satellite signal finder ASAP! :D

Guys.... calm down Amazonas excitement. You will need at least 6 to 8 ft dish ... this is the footprint for transponders the Telefonica's packages are on ...
Amazonas at 61.0?W - LyngSat Maps

With a smaller dish you WILL get Amazonas, but only channels on Americas beam which are NOT the "Telefonica TV" channels - those are only available on South America beam (the bigger dish required).

Coders released Amazonas patch for Nfusion (for "Telefonica TV" packages), but it's not on IKS, it's on emulation, and there is no autoroll (you have to enter keys manually). Release is available from Nfusion Forums FTA Forum under "Nfusion Nova/Solaris/Phoenix Files" forum. You can also download the release here.

Btw DN is still going fine on Nfusion (without XXX)

Of course DN is still fine on NFusion because right now it's just working on N2 like all other receivers .... when N3 is fully implemented then we will know if it works or not.

Until then let's enjoy what we have.

I got DN on Nfusion and everything is working fine except the xxx rated channels are all off. This seems to indicate that N3 is not cracked by Nfusion as I read somewhere, that the xxx channels were now on N3.

Well, even if N3 is not cracked, nfusion COULD still deliver PPV... of course, it would have a cost associated with it ... let's say 35 channels of PPV (sub cards) @ 4.99 per 24 hours on each PPV channel, that's US$ 63.750 per year.

The porn is more expensive it's US$ 17.99 per 3-hour block, for all 7 channels, so that would cost US$ 52.530 per year.

I am sure nfusion earns more money than that in a day... but of course, there is a risk associated....because DN could easily "spot" a subscriber purchasing that much paid premium services, 24/7. So the lack of PPV and XXX on DN's nfusion IKS with working sub cards is more of a security precaution than a business model / money issue...

The glossary was provided in the OP. After reading the glossary you should not have problems understanding 95% of what is being said ;)

Dish Latino went down yesterday on officual sub cards (16/4, planned for 15/4), though Viewsat and others are still picking it up. Nfusion up. It may mean that official sub cards do not pick it up any more, but it still may be on N2.

There is no official release for N3 for any FTA, besides N3 - IKS nfusion does for BEV (and hopefully soon for DN).

Do not be fooled into buying bins for your receiver some people are selling for DN on N3 on some FTA forums. Once, if, and when N3 is carcked, it will be freely available. HAD N3 really been cracked, manufacturers (or better to say their unofficial coders) would be already making "official" statements on FTA webboards.

I have lost a bunch of channels (besides the adult channels that were the first victims of N3) on my Nfusion Satellite receiver, most likely from N3 but maybe the bad weather has something to do with the reception, as some channels I dont' get one day but receive them another day.

Does anybody know what the situation is, are they implementing more N3 encryption and taking more channels off the air despite Nfusion descrambling?

Right now, adult channels and Dish Latino package channels are N3. Showtime package channels are expected to go N3 by the end of May.
Most of the channels should be N3 by the end of august.

From what happened with BEV and nfusion, IT IS WIDELY UNDERSTOOD that nfusion will not open up N3 channels until most of the channels are N3 (or at least until most of the english language channels are N3). When Bev started conversion to N3, nfusion did not open up channels on BEV in N3 untl most of the channels were N3. So expect nfusion start opening up N3 channels on DN later this year, but not now.

If you want missing N3 channels, look into a box called i-link, it's sold in Mexico only for now, it has all N3 channels and it also has Amazonas and I think SKY via IKS.

So it is correct then, that my recent loss of channels like Military Channel, Fox News, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, History Channel, and others on Nfusion DN is due to N3 ?

All those channels are working on my nfusion, and nfusion is NOT yet supporting N3 on Dish, which means those channels are still in N2.

Those channels would go N3 among the latest, before they go N3, it would be movie packages (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and Starz) going N3 first, and PPVs going N3.

I just checked History (120), History International (121), Investigation Discovery (190), Military (195), Fox News (205), Animal Planet (184) all are working.

These channels have not even moved positions which would require a transponder or satellite rescan.

I suggest you turn off the receiver and turn it back on. Also, check you have the latest release 1.50.3 file on your nfusion: MENU - INTERNET - S/W UPGRADE - S/W VERSION CHECK

If your version is lower than 1.50.3 download an update from your nfuson, or manually and load it via webloader (you can get the files via a link below).

I also suggest you this forum, the most relevant authority on anything nfusion: Nfusion Forums FTA Forum

P.S.
If you have to load the newest file (e.g. your version is lower than 1.50.3) you should follow the instructions on the forum above --and here-- http://www.nfusionforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21695 --- and reset to factory default, reboot, load U38 factory file, reboot, reset to factory default, load 1.50.3 file, reset to factory default, rescan both satellites (separately) and save.

Also if you use DISEQ (two Dishes or TWO LNB's, meaning you get bot 110 and 119 satellites), save your DISEQ settings (Diseq 1.0, Diseq 1.1, Multi Switch) under MENU - INSTALLATION - ANTENNA SETTING for each satellite (by selecting 119 W and 110W in the "Satellite" area under the Antenna Settings above)

IF, and I say IF, your version is 1.50.3, do not reload anything on your box. Just do a factory reset MENU - SYSTEM SETTINGS - FACTORY DEFAULT, and rescan. WRITE DOWN YOUR DISEQ SETTINGS, and your INTERNET SETTINGS under MENU - INTERNET - NETWORK INFORMATION. Also make sure your proxy is turned OFF (under MENU - INTERNET).

Also make sure that under MENU - USER SETTINGS you have the following:
LO Freq: 11250
22KHz: OFF
Autoroll: OFF
Emulator: OFF
Motor settings: OFF
LNB power: ON
Primary Channel: Dish network --on Solaris/Phoenix (or "DN" on Nova/Nuevenio boxes)

If you have not mastered your nfusion controls and are afraid to "mess" things up by doing factory reset, just rescan both satellites - MENU - INSTALLATION - ANTENNA SETTING (select satellite 110 or 119 and the SATELLITE field) and click on Search Channels / CH ALL SEARCH under the same ANTENNA SETTING) and after the rescan is done, save.

You have to repeat it for both satellites, first by selecting 110W in the SATELLITE field (under Antenna Settings) make sure 110W says also in the square box to the right, after you rescan on 110W, select 119w under Satellite box, make sure 119 W says also in the small box to the right, then rescan, and save.

After that, power off your nfusion, power on, and you should be all set to go.

thanks, I would assume the rescanning would work with 61.5 also (I have HD version of Nfusion and a 2nd dish - 119 and 110 on one dish and 61.5 on the other).

61.5 is all N3. If you are getting the referenced channels from 61.5, the problem may lie just there. Rescan to get those channels off 110 and 119.

Not any more.

"Based on your IP address, we noticed you are trying to access Hulu through an anonymous proxy tool. Hulu is not currently available outside the U.S., you'll need to disable your anonymizer to access videos on Hulu"

I also just noticed that when you install hotspotshield, it places an advertising banner at the top of your browser, which some people may not want.

Have you try using TOR, I am lead to understand it is transparent.

Rubio,

I have few receivers (pansat and a HD viewsat) and I'm planning to buy an nFusion.
What do you suggest? Do it now or wait? Do you think that nfusion box will be able to open N3 for sure??
How about the other box which is sold in Mexico only?
What would you do?
Thanks!

The Dish cards I programmed for the bar are still up and running minus a few unimportant channels. Someone told me that they could last untill August.
