Has anybody tried this magicjack with a satellite connection? I am having issues using Skype and Ichat because of the latency.

try tuning your MTU
MTU Ping Test
will help you find the optimal mtu

Is the reception clear? I can't sound like I'm under water or in a wind tunnel as I will be on conference calls a few hrs a day.

having tried so many voip systems only to be let down, i was skeptical with this one. but with so much positive response on the normally critical dr1 forum, i gave this one i try.

i am totally impressed. when the connection is bad you just get gaps in the call vs bad distortion. great product.
