"Globally, the analysis projected that the world will see 3 billion or more infections over the next three months, which is as many as the entire two years of the pandemic"

Good news because by now it is safe to say that Omicron is mild and global herd immunity is reached in record time.
Bad for Pfizer and Biontec because the updates will not be ready on time and there will be no need anymore.

Now its "use it or loose it" for the boosters that at least offer some protection against severe covid for delta (regardless of the side effects). So hurry to get a booster before they become worthless to enjoy at least a little time of protection for free.

Pfizer will not be out of business. They are well prepared and are first with a product for the aftermarket.

There is that "herd immunity " discussion again. We just can't seem to get past that fiction.

Agreed that cases are increasing beyond expectations. My home country had a daily infection record with no end in sight:

Daily Infection Record

The US is currently averaging more than 265,000 new COVID-19 cases per day, surpassing the country's January previous peak. Monday set a single-day record of just over 512,000 thousand reported cases. Experts say the surge is due to the spread of the omicron variant, increased testing, and a reporting backlog from the holiday weekend.

Separately, officials revised their estimates of the spread of the omicron variant in the US (see data). Previously believed to have made up almost 73% of new cases, revisions show the variant made up 22% of new cases for the week ending Dec. 18, increasing to almost 59% last week.

The number of average daily cases marks a rise of almost 120% over the past two weeks. More than 73,000 patients are currently hospitalized, up 15% over the same timeframe, while deaths have also risen by about 15%, to an average of around 1,450 per day.

One might say their Viagra financial windfall has hardened their ability to endure rough financial times.

Apologies Alexander. It’s a slow morning here as I sit and enjoy my coffee and watch the sunrise. I’m older and my mind wanders. 😁

Meanwhile in Copenhagen:

So I sum up: The vaccines lead to higher risk to be infected by corona type viruses (besides they can not prevent the virus from entering the body through the mucous membranes unlike a natural immunity), however they are good to prepare the immune system to effectly fight the virus inside the body preventing being hospitalized. At least up to the delta variant.
However, the vaccines have severe side effects: trombosis, microtrombosis, autoimmune reaction in all parts of the body, HIV like symptoms.
Delta is fading out and replaced by omicron, which is by far less lethal and the vaccines are not effective against omicron.
Given that today good medication against covid exists the decision on how to protect against omicron, which is the title of this thread, is a no brainer in my opinion.

NY Times editor Carlos Tejada DIES of a "heart attack" just one day after receiving his Moderna booster jab:

All these stats about who is unvaccinated and vaccinated in ICUs, but where are the stats on vaccine injuries??

The Omicron cold symptoms will bring out the usual suspects calling for more jabs of poison.

If you sincerely care about your health read the following article and consider yourself forewarned to be forearmed.

mRNA short and long term will be assaulting your system.
Some of the consequences outlined in this study could be with you long after Covid (which should have been defeated, by now).
And getting jabbed is actually prolonging the virus's transmission.

Jab away if dare.

I expect that you have not had a friend or relative in the ICU for 6 weeks? Or who has died?

Unfortunately, this virus - and the fact that most of those hospitalized for it are Unvaccinated (despite the post from real clear politics) has once again made life far more dangerous for all of us here in the USA since hospital beds are filling up and others with other ailments are being turned away

It is very hard for many of us to understand those who will not get vaccinated to protect the lives of others if not for themselves.

But clearly we live on different planets.

I have survived many illnesses that are now essentially gone because of vaccines - Whooping Cough, measles, mumps- for instance. I was part of the polio vaccine test group as a child. And am VERY grateful that there is now a new Shingles vaccine as I also had chicken pox.

It is not just one's OWN life that is at stake but the lives of many strangers.

But - of course - there are many who do not give a damn about anyone except themselves.......Do not wear masks.. will not be vaccinated..... do not keep their distance.

Fortunately I am a successful recluse.

Approximately 30 percent of those hospitalized in Ontario have had two jabs,

Very interesting.
My employee is from Teheran and we speak a lot about the situation in Iran. Iran has an unusual high rate of severe covid among the younger population. I googled about what he said and found confirming articles.
Same in Italy, more than average cases among the younger.
Both countries have in common that young people have a complete health care vaccination program for the children, they are like you vaccinated against everything.
In the 1st world war many US soldiers died of the spanish flu. They all were vaccunated against something before they were send overseas.
Prof. Bhakdi pointed out that the vaccunation programs -might- be the cause for that highly vaccunated populations are more vulnarable to covid.

So the reason that you catched so many severe deseases -might- be the fact that you got all these vaccines.

I think by now it is hard fact that the vaccines do nothing to stop transmission of the virus. Nada. Zilch.
So this argument is simply wrong.

Wonder why so many cases of Covid were shown and why ordinary flu virtually vanished.

Well surprise surprise the CDC admits PCR testing could not actually differentiate. And after Dec 31,CDC is scrapping this testing procedure. Just like the invente of PCR testing, Kerry Mullis told us it was not accurate for Covid testing the way it was used.

Like many of us on this forum said PCR testing was not reliable and there were very high percentages of false positives.
There will be more predictions many of us have said will be exposed. Just wait and hold my beer.
