And me? Since I had to work, I got to go to Tony Roma's for their thanksgiving dinner.

A slice of cranberry sauce, on top of a small slice of turkey, on top of a small spoon of dressing, with a tablespoon of gravy on top.

Oh, don't let me forget the 2" square piece of batata cake, about a 1/2 inch thick, and a similiar small piece of pumpkin pie that was even thinner. Amazing.....NOT!

All of that in the center of a large plate, that emphasized how truly small and pathetic the portion really was.

It took me all of 2-3 minutes to eat... really.

And all for the low, low price of 675 pesos. Disgusting.

Got you beat. I went to the supermarket and apparently to my misunderstanding YAMS and SWEET POTATOES are the SAME THING??????????? For real? No, they are not. Yams look like Yucas but orange inside and Sweet Potatoes look like potatoes but orange all over. Who cant figure this out?

In other news, turkey came out good(11lbs), succulent & juicy. Cherry pies came out ok, nothing to sing about. Said candied "yams"(actually cut sweet potatoes) came out a little too loose, too much water in the pan but not too bad. I didnt make the oven baked mac & cheese nor the cornbread I wanted to make. I m saving that for my BuenasNoches orgy.

675 pesos for that Tony Romas meal huh? Dont feel too bad. I paid 500 pesos for a full body massage that didnt include a happy ending.

Heart felt congratulations to those 71 hearty souls that braved Sos?a in the Fall to eat at Rocky's...I can truly say that is am a wee bit envious, and some day, when I really retire, I will make it again.

It sounds great, as usual....My regards to all y'alls.
