Our little corner of the DR is Playa Najayo. This story made all the radio/TV news, we're hoping that they'll send more police to clean up the beach bars, it's out of control. News called the bar [which was closed at the time of the murder] a prostitution and drug point. We don't even go to our own beach - not for years now. Ironically, Playa Palenque, our beach of choice, used to be just like Playa Najayo is now, and they cleaned house there several years ago. Now it all moved to our corner.

good part, i think, is that those murderers get very high sentences. 20 to 30 years, normally.

Who says it is God's will? He said, "You must not murder," but people choose to disobey that command and murder. Put the blame where blame belongs--on the people who are murdering, not on the one who told them not to!

If your mechanic told you to never put sugar in the gas tank, but you put sugar in it anyway and wrecked the car, is it your mechanic's will that you wreck your car?

Dominican republic.............2513.......for less than 10 million people.

So u compare europe, a group of countries, with the dr, a country........ and even the u are WRONG.

This young tigere was stealing cacao and platanos and such from a familys conuco.
Local PN says, no proof, cant do nothing. Too hot, too far...... no can do.
So the owner waits for the guy one night, and the tigere comes along with his bag to full it with cacao......
Owner shoots him with a speargun through the chest.......

Of course the dead guys family tells everyone that he was a new-born-again-evangelico-christian, and he would never steal or lie.......
Yeah right.

it is, and i swear, one of those things that sneak to generally positive and optimistic posts that malko makes about his life in the campo. this man could find something nice to say about a nuclear explosion wiping out all life on earth. "but look all all those beautiful colou..."

on a similar note, makes you think how many of those pointless homicides don't make it to the news section. and trust me, i read each and every one of them.
