They should make a position the puta Warden to control the infestion of the streetwalkers for Sosua
Beach renovation has nothing to do with the decrease in lady traffic. They are trying to maximize earnings elsewhere. We used to get a crowd in Sosua that came for a good time. Now too many are coming seeking rock bottom prices.
When the tourism minister was in town about the plazas, he definitely mentioned the world's oldest profession and relationship of that to the plazas and work being done. Looks like that is having a positive effect desired already? How so before they are even open in what seems might be years from now?

Amber Highway? Believe it when I see here in our region that the government mostly forgot. There would be almost no attention from the government here if it wasn't from the bad press about the hookers.

Next month will be two years since announcing. I'm coming back soon. How are things going?
Considering all the posters we have in Sosua, I don't think anyone knows(?). Haven't seen any posts on it lately. I've driven past it on the highway and you can now see substantial construction on the Los Charimicos end. It looks like there is now construction on the Batey end, also.

Off topic for the thread.

I can tell you for 80 million, that's only going to be one or two main streets I'd guess.

I was at Sosua beach couple weeks ago it looked the same, except at the charimico end the last few small bars/cafes were closed.

You'll find the roads in Sosua are worse than ever. Coraapplata is digging everywhere and not asphalting over top. Huges holes on the side streets so be careful if driving at night cause you won't see them. The town looks worse than ever. The beach construction is slow going as anticipated.

I probably won't stay too long this time, last year we stayed in Sosua almost two months remodeling our apartamento.
This year I want to go places!

Really tough to see this in my mind. The caliche area is going to be parking for the Kiosks?

The big hole on the other side has an office trailer and a porta-potty. Is that related to the beach project?

That doesn't look much different than it did six months ago(?). Is there anything happening on the El Batey side? I was thinking it would be complete for the upcoming winter season. Doesn't look remotely close. How many years have they been working on that now?
