The question was about the police randomly picking up hoes and locking them up. That is totally a north coast phenomenon and it doesn't happen down here.

Wrong, they did the exact same thing to the girls on the Malecon and Ave. Independencia a few years back.

I understand what you are saying but these girls will go wherever these guys go and it will take them a total of 5 seconds to go fleeing to this new location to get them BEFORE these guys go to Ahmvee so that they can have a better chance of scoring a John earlier in the evening and either having their entire night paid for including the mandatory shrimp or lobster feast or getting some early evening action and then when they are done with that one the girls move on to Ahmvee for their next John.

I read on a monger site that around 3pm, Bailies or what ever it’s called now is packed with chics; that’s just a hop, skip and jump to Kings/Rumba.

That's quite the plan. But won't be allowed to happen. The authorities are not going to allow hook up places to take off anywhere near pedro clisante. They took the hill, and won't give it up.

Some small hotels will most likely open up on the other end, Ahnvee might possibly expand. Isn't there a 4 story abandoned something directly behind Ahnvee?

Two comments to your two comments:

1. Taking the hill and holding it makes tactical sense. But that doesn’t mean that strategy will be sustained. How many times did the US Military take hills in Vietnam only to abandon then soon afterwards. (Too many times!)
Same thing “might” happen here.

2. What about the Hotel Colibri? is it still open? If so, might they modify their business model (as Ahnvee apparently did) to fill that “void”?
(Last time I was in Colibri was years ago when they used to have the Indonesian buffet).

There is at least 100 hoes on the malecon at night and its been that way since i moved here(2 yrs ago). As soon as the sunsets they appear and theyll harass the hell out of you. I cant debate the past but that isn't happening now. Its not even remotely happening now. Hell all I see are cops fraternizing with the hoes.

That kinda of proves my initial point. The powers to be do what they want when they want it. I've been here over 13 years and lived in S>D. the first 6 1/2. They did in the past do as I said PLUS they closed down 2 whore houses on Pasture and Lapsus which was about a block away. I think that 305 after a lot of problems and I'm sure $$$$ paid by the Cuban American owners was allowed to stay open.

Frankly speaking, you don't have to be on the N.C. The Gov/ Police enforce laws and non laws as they see fit.

As Gary said, if they want and think it serves their purpose, they do it.
They tried it in Boca Chica for the same reasons as in Sosua today, latest in 2017. Not very successful there as I understand.
Here in Cabarete they used to do it as well, nowadays they do not bother, maybe Cab has become sufficient low profile regarding «in your face prostitution» and thus not damaging the tourism gov want.

One thing is sure, PN enforce the law as they see fit, you better have the resources/connections/lawyer to combat what we could call injustice in other more developed and less corrupt countries. No need to debate this fact

I do not believe the previous posts truly and accurately tells what will happen in Sosua in the future. Only time can tell, and since I live nearby, I am pleased to be updated what happens there.

..My lake house in northern Minnesota didn't even have door locks..it was a few miles from anyone, and if someone wanted to get in ,didn't want broken doors and locks......Doc...

Nah Gary I believe its closed now. Everything near or on Pasteur has been closed. The only thing that is open is Casa Teresa, Foxxys, and the Venezuelan place on Calle Sanchez.

Very funny how the mongering is hated in Sosua but some individuals know all the spots throughout the country including Sosua.... the individuals with the biggest mouths...
Just saying....
I guess the viagra doesn't work anymore...
Only thing left is to complain...

I am for a clean up Sosua and other places but i am disappointed with the bashing of the Dominican people and other cultures.
Especially, from those that live there.
