You're ignoring what's physically there because you're sad. You honestly can't prefer filthy open sewers on a public beach over an engineered system?
So what do you suggest, don't make things better at the beach area because the water supply system needs work? That makes sense to you?
And other then approving a couple of food plazas, the gov't has nothing to do with it. It's privately owned (for the gazillionth time).
Go knock on their front door and tell them what you want done on their property.
So, this will be the only place that properly treats the water supply?
I wish the whole island took care of the water supply and the sewage system but I have yet to see it done properly on the NC. Like I said, I will believe it when I see it....the track record is extremely poor. Have you been involved in the clean up of Rio Sosua? I have. You would be surprised with what goes into that river...dumping straight into the bay. The problems are much larger than a bit of crap going on behind the shacks.
