So what do you suggest, don't make things better at the beach area because the water supply system needs work? That makes sense to you?

And other then approving a couple of food plazas, the gov't has nothing to do with it. It's privately owned (for the gazillionth time).
Go knock on their front door and tell them what you want done on their property.

I wish the whole island took care of the water supply and the sewage system but I have yet to see it done properly on the NC. Like I said, I will believe it when I see it....the track record is extremely poor. Have you been involved in the clean up of Rio Sosua? I have. You would be surprised with what goes into that river...dumping straight into the bay. The problems are much larger than a bit of crap going on behind the shacks.

My favorite Dominican lunch location in Sosua. La Norteno Comedor / Bar. just a 9 iron east on PC from where you live. Also you can not miss the BBQ unit on the sidewalk, along with seating at the bar on the right side with some nice local service.

How the red light district of sosua was created :
In 2013 a famous Dominican comedian named cheddy Garcia decided with a group of friends to stay in ocean club. The beach front condo hotel in sosua rents for $400 to $800 per night per room. this location is home to two restaurants a wine cellar and a cigar lounge and valet parking
To get there however one must pass Pedro clisante and surrounding area. Cheddy was mortified. She published a scathing letter to the President of the Country Danilo Medina. she also published videos building awareness in the country and categorizing the age differences as pedophilia and dramatizing the prostitution. Most Dominican viewers had no knowledge of an open air sex market in their country
The president in an attempt to save face acknowledged that prostitution in the country is legal however pandering is illegal. His remedy was to give all bars one year to move to the playa Chiquita area and instituting a closing mandate of 1:am
The casino in playa Chiquita was exempt from the 1:am curfew. The old high caribe restaurant ,anvi resort and a luxury sports bar were created and renovated in anticipation of the relocation.
These efforts failed however as the population of tourist who would be customers began to experience a precipitous decline leaving only those who prefer to remain near rumba and their hotel.
Additionally there were shifts in the customer base with an increasing number of customers electing to make Colombia their new Latin American playground.
