I'd like to think as a group we're a little more refined on how we refer to people. I use sex workers and their Clients myself.

In Spanish they may say “Dama de compañía” as a nicer way of saying it. And there is also “Chapiadora” and both are probably considered more upscale but fundamentally it’s the same.

Sex worker.
Sex tourist.
Prostitute.

Not sure about the spelling but when speaking about these type of women, every Dominican I know calls them "querlos."

Not understanding why people are having this conversation. Hooker, puta, whore, whatever, it's the same thing. How can anyone be offended by one word over another describing the exact same thing?
Hooker is a good word for it

Prostitution isn't the solution?
Proper zoning. Designated red light area.
Problem solved.

Actually those do not all have the same meaning, even though some idiots use them as meaning the same thing.

monger- a person who is involved with something in a petty or contemptible way (usually used in combination): like fishmonger, sexmonger....etc.
