more pesky foreigners in this story: the dutch were executed by curaçaoan assassins and the person arrested in casa de campo is spanish. he's refusing to cooperate with the authorities saying that he will be killed and there are "big people" involved. according to the dominican police the crime took place because the dutch were responsible for seizing of about a ton of drugs in DR. and, to solve the issue of "pushed out or jumped", the hypothesis is that the dutch were brought to the field and killed there.

When a large drug seizure is made by any government someone is always in trouble. Usually the one who lost the drugs.

now i think of it in the last 2 or 3 years there has been several large seizures, tons of coke captured every year. that correlates with articles about this case that list other similar deaths/executions that took place recently.

I agree , too much misinformation.
I came here to RD in early 1980's ... Even then it was not as dangerous as living in the James Bay area of Quebec.
Things have improved here ,substantially, since then.. and for the better.

Crazy how our authorities let these foreigners run wild and do whatever they want with our country, but a dominican with a green t shirt cant use the metro system in Santo Domingo because of "security issues".

What a ****ing joke!!! Seriously our politicians are ****ing garbage!!
