It isn't rampant in the USA. It may seem that way because as of to date over 41 million have been tested. As testing centers opened virtually everywhere people, who felt fine, decided might as well go get a test done.

With that logic I believe that Trump will cure cancer by not letting doctors test for it. Wouldn't that be great!

I just looked. USA is number 7 in deaths as a percentage of the population according to worldometer. Look at deaths/million

Do you have a link for that? What is most countries, and they probably think does not seem to be very scientific.

All the european counries are comparing. this is the link. read right down to the publications reporting the different countries

It is a fact, as of today over 44 million tests in the US. Next closet is Russia, 22 Million. China claims over 90 million not sure I believe anything from there. But WhataboutTrump blah blah.

Can we please stop the useless bickering? You are both right depending on which metric we're looking at. If discussing death per 100k population scot_tosh is correct. Now if discussing death as a percentage of confirmed infections, KyleMackey is correct.

I would like to point out that Europe are getting over this initial first wave of this virus, the Americas are still in the middle of it.

We' had this conversation already but I' ll tell you again, I DON'T AGREE with Sweden's chief epidemiologist. His opinion is not the end all be all nor is his conclusions set in stone. Experts can be wrong ex Dr Fauci.
