sorry to hear that.

It is always the good ones that leave us early.

What a shame.

cb, you have full support of miesposo in your blinding venture :)
he's been dringing in DR for 17 years now and he still hates long-lights-all-the-time habit. guess one never gets used to that.

Good timing.

They paved a few more miles of road between La Vega and Santiago, dark dark dark.

The new headlights softened the tar a little with their radaition...;)

Yup, fully with ya.

I've modded my Prado with said Stebel air horns and a Xenon kit.

Word of warning, don't try and play with the HT cable that comes out of the transformer box to the bulbs with your lights switched on. My arm is now aching just thinking about it. Man they bite! Something like 30,000Volts!

Wow is it dark! It almost looks like they made a left turning lane... But with no lines how can one tell?

genius, just blind them completely so they can crash right into you or someone else. try putting tint on top part of your windshield

Question then:

I want to replace my nightlights also. I need 9007's and I don't have an HID installation (maybe later).

I've checked a few places and the only light's they have are these cheap chinese/ricer crap that says "XENON " yet they are not HID's which doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

Regardless, I'm not looking for cheap ricer products. I can afford more than that. Anywhere to get some decent halogen lights around here (in Santiago)? Or am I looking at finding someone to import them?

Example:Amazon.com: Sylvania 9007 XV BP TWIN XtraVision Halogen Headlight

EBAY!!!

I buy almost everything on Ebay; getting it here(Bavaro) is expensive (I use EPS) but I always get exactly what I want! It beats driving to santo Domingo and looking for stuff there.
