Canadians get full Covid medical insurance of their own

Canadian companies are offering medical insurance to encourage travel.

Air Canada and and Air Canada Vacations are now offering full Covid medical insurance through Mutual Life for any DR flight bookings up to the end of October.

The medical insurance covers hospitalization costs, flight changes, and extra accommodation costs for those who may contract the virus after flying with the airline to the Dominican Republic.

Air Canada is also offering great deals for those booking travel with them as traffic picks up again for Dominican vacations.

Air Transat is also making it easy for Canadian travelers to book vacations. The company has in place their “book with peace of mind” program for new individual bookings made by 30 September 2020. And it announced on 25 September that its customers will benefit from a Covid-19 Emergency Medical Certificate of Insurance to cover emergency medical and quarantine expenses at destination.
