Meliá Hotels International announced the opening of the Falcon Resort by Meliá in Punta Cana at the Fitur Travel Fair in Madrid, Spain. Falcon Resort offers a “resortainment” hotel experience.
Those staying at the hotel have privileged access to the new Punta Cana immersive theme park: Katmandu Park – Punta Cana, with walking access from the resort. During the pre-opening days, and until 15 March 2023, resort guests are receiving exclusive access to a selection of attractions as a preview before the full park opens its doors to the public. The hotel company says that in the future, guests will also have direct access to a carefully curated selection of fun-filled and varied dining, shopping and entertainment venues as part of a broader destination experience being developed.
Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana promotes itself as a five-star all-inclusive resort located on the Dominican Republic’s iconic Bávaro Beach. The hotel is a multi-phase transformation of two existing Meliá properties, Paradisus Grand Cana and Garden Suites by Meliá, comprising 622 rooms. The first phase has been rebranded as Paradisus Grand Cana and includes 432 luxury suites, three pools, nine specialty restaurants and a world-class spa and fitness center. The second phase, the rebranding of Garden Suites by Meliá, will include 190 rooms to be completed by the end of 2023.
