Arajet gets its ninth jet

Arajet has just received its ninth jet to continue to serve the many non-stop routes in the Americas covered by the airline.

The ninth Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft was named “Bahia de las Aguilas” for the protected beach area in Jaragua National Park in Pedernales province. The area is now opening up to mass tourism with the construction of hotels in the nearby Cabo Rojo beach area and the opening of the Port Cabo Rojo for cruise ship arrivals.

Arajet connects the Dominican Republic to destinations in the Caribbean, Central America, South America and Canada. The airline has requested permission to fly to the United States.
