UNPD will contribute US$50 million

The United Nations Program for Development’s (UNPD) representative in this country, Paolo Oberti, says that the Dominican Republic has a solid opportunity for economic development and that is why the UNPD has programmed a US$50 million contribution for the period 1997-2001 in support. He remembered that during the period 1992-1996, the UNPD contributed US$90 million.
