Dominican composer and musician Ramon Gallardo died at the age of 83 in the United States. Mr. Gallardo, a native of Puerto Plata, was a pianist in the Generalísimo Orquestra in the 1940’s, and composed the famous bolero “Bani”, dedicated to the southern province.
