Real GDP grows by 5.7%
Central Bank has announced that the real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 5.7% during the period January-June 1996. The activities which were mainly responsible for this growth were communications (22.8%), mining (14.6%), hotels, bars and restaurants (12.5%), agriculture (9.9%) construction (6.2%), commerce (6.2%), government (4.4%) and transportation (3.5%).
