American Airlines announced it is celebrating its 25th anniversary of flying to the DR. A special supplement in the Listin Diario newspaper tellls that the airline began flying its first New York-Santo Domingo flight on 8 September 1975. Today, AA is the leading carrier to the DR. The Listín Diario highlights damages caused by a diesel fuel spillage on 5 September affecting the Laguna de Bavaro in the Cabeza de Toro-Punta Cana area.
