Just a note regarding the $10,000 limit without declaration. This is the PARTY TRAVELING TOGETHER LIMIT eg husband and wife would only be allowed $5,000 each.

Actually it is worse. It is for a family traveling together.

What is the recommended place to stash cash when traveling by air? I usually just stick it in my carry on, but I'm not crazy about that idea. I guess the alternative is to carry it on my person, but it's a big wad. I usually don't travel with much cash, but this trip it's necessary.

Ho do people pay for real estate they buy here. say if it it $100,000 dollars? Do they carry Bank Cashiers cheques . Are there such things?

Wire transfers from your Bank.

Unless you keep your cash in your mattress. Then you'll need a really big Fanny Pack.
