that storm positions shown as NOW is just a estimate from the old tracking from 11AM this morning.
the NHC did not update any tracking nor position data since then.
please dont show such things, the Storm could be elsewhere.

it sure is already over water and i guestimate the new walls to be finally found a tad bit towards the NE of the former center, simply because there are the highest powers, so they will assist best to rebuild the storm there.
by the 2PM update that shoud already be finished, up and running.
we will see where and TO Where.
I don't like my early winds here not a little bit,
but on the other hand we knew it will come close at least.

Living in Gaspar hernandez on the North Coast between Rio San Juan and Caberete.
Been monitoring and on the fence as to whether to board up or not. Its just a few hours work as I have a setup where I slide Plywood between an outside Support and inside support and screw in on both sides but it seemed it may not be required until I looked at the 11 am update , the cone seems to have moved a bit south Putting us in the Purple. I am no pro reading this stuff and would appreciate your thoughts . (No liability LOL)

Maria will not turn anywhere before it is in front of or NE of the Bay of Samana.
the steering patterns are stabe and strong with this Storm.
We need to know WHERE it is and its starting Heading from there.
as it already left US Soil the big brothers left us, we stay blind.
waiting for the 2PM public advisory.
then we will have to wait for the 5PM update, but by then we will see it anyways with our own eyes.

That is not true, my son works there in the administration and they have very specific plans and have info meetings with staff every hour and information meetings with guests as well.

yes, the steering patterns are NW on 305 degrees.
forward speed around 10knots reflects the strength of the steering winds.

I was responding to another post that indicated that the person staying there had no idea what to do. Perhaps he missed the directions of the staff and perhaps I should have asked him "have you asked anyone?". My fault and I also found it odd that a place such as Lifestyles with a good reputation didn't/wouldn't have a good emergency plan in place. I've been reassured that they have and I hope that the original person asking has been also.
