I agree with this this. For instance we can’t be sure of the origin yet of this virus and from when.

Godwin's Law? Really?
The number of pre-existing conditions that are co-morbidities of this virus are limited, and age is not a "condition."
Do yourself a favor and watch this 5 minute video. It might convince some about the BS that is the Wuhan Virus. We will never get back the civil liberties that we are losing.

Anyone reading the statistics from US about Latinos being more affected by the Virus?
Fake news or bad news for RD with like 99% Latinos?
Carlos,
I'm curious if you or mods in general care about the content offered within a post and not simply is it DR related or within the confines of the thread?
I don't mean to presume nor do I want to break the rules but at some point one has to take a stand on allowing extreme bias or misrepresentation.
Please delete if necessary but please answer or confirm. Thanks

'Louder With Crowder - Right Bias - Conservative - Republican - Not CredibleFactual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable
RIGHT BIAS
These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports and omit reporting of information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.
Overall, we rate Louder with Crowder a borderline Questionable Right biased source based on extremely sensational headlines and story selection that always favors the right. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to the use of poor sources and a few failed fact checks. Keep in mind Steven Crowder is a comedian, which needs to be taken into consideration when viewing his content.
Louder with Crowder is a podcast, radio show and website run by Steven Blake Crowder who is a Canadian-American conservative political commentator, actor, and comedian. Louder with Crowder began as Youtube Channel in 2009 and as of 2019 has over 3 million subscribers. His shows are also broadcast on the strongly right leaning Blaze TV. Steven Crowder labels his podcast as comedy."
I hear banks are back to full day from 1/2 day
only 2 people at a time inside
let's watch this afternoon to verify
Depends on the bank and branch really. My BHD is open 930am to 1230pm and only one person at a time as of this morning.
Same with Caribe Express for sending and changing money. The office in Cabarete opens completely different hours than those on the website.
We have a development in Cabrera
I hear an official in the Edenorte Office has been stricken
They have closed the office and are monitoring the staff
What about the customers ???
Come to Elmhurst Hospital in Queens and all you will see are Hispanics infected with coronavirus and dying. This pandemic is disproportionately killing off people of color.Anyone reading the statistics from US about Latinos being more affected by the Virus?

But to your point: yes, I do think herd immunity is the way to go. Let those with the lowest risks go live their lives. Maybe some get sick, maybe they won't. But immunity will follow the sickness, and the more immunity, the better off we'd all be. Just keep the oldsters and those with conditions known to be a problem away from everyone until the herd is immune.

As to other issues posted here if you take a teeny tiny percentage of a very large number and remove all social distancing, self-isolating, and lockdown measures millions would have been dead by now.
The social impact on the rest of humanity would have been far more damaging and permanently destructive of our global economy than the imposition thereof. The measures taken were necessary.
