The post in #116 is over 3 hours.
My time is too valuable for that.
If someone would like to give me the power point version I will take a look at that.
Because I am almost at "mike drop" time. 🤪

I believe that you have spent more than 3 hours in total posting on this thread,
There is no power point available for the Congressional testimony.
I did post a pdf.

But, perhaps, your time is more valuable than mine?

The money each of us receives has exactly the same value.
Every 💵 Warren Buffet receives is worth the exact same amount as one that I receive.
The difference is that he receives billions of them and I get thousands.🤑.

Time is different. ⏳
Everyone on this earth gets the same 24 hours each day.
We each value time differently.
And we each spend them on the priorities that we choose.

Perhaps, you should remember that.

Why do people think it is solely the responsibility of the 🇺🇲❓
Why can't China, Russia or North Korea help take care of the problem?
The France created the mess in the first place.
Why don't they send help?

I wouldn’t want any of those three with their claws anywhere on Hispaniola.

It’s been said a million times. Haitians have to help Haiti. Very tall order, but it’s the only answer.

Too late President Medina sold out to China several years ago for a reported 3 billion and then closed the Taiwan embassy ordered the ambassador from Taiwan to leave the country within 30 days.

Hard for anyone other Haitians to help when there is no functioning government and such a state of lawlessness exists. And sadly it will likely take several generations and lots of bloodshed to overcome.

Respectfully,

Understood.
But my point was it is not solely a responsibility of the 🇺🇲 to help 🇭🇹

With this I agree.
The law abiding people of Haiti all need to take up arms against the gangs and those who favor a lawless society.
I am an advocate for providing those arms to the people of 🇭🇹.

And to think I thought you were talking about the domination of Pica Pollo restaurants here in the 🇩🇴.
I like Pica Pollo.
But I have only a few special restaurants that I like.

Government is overrated especially democracies.

The people of 🇭🇹 do not need a government.
They needs guns.
To provide for their own security.
After they have handled that then they can organize a method of government that works for them.
That may not be western style democracy.

Interesting about the DR and Taiwan -- That is one of the things that helps Haiti - that they have a close relationship with Taiwan,,, One of the Congressional questions was on the "belt and Road" initiative.

Haiti also always roots for Brazil in soccer because of some old relationship..
I remember asking about the Brazil fandom. They told me that Brazil was the only country that would schedule and play a soccer match with Haiti many years ago. When Brazil plays, all of Haiti roots for them.
