Planned for punishment or because they don't generate enough power?
Just a few months ago they were touting their improvements to provide 24/7 electricity.
Seems the bar gets lowered for utilities as time progresses.
Thank God the traffic light at the entrance to La Mulata hasn't been replaced since it was taken out by a drunk

The blackouts, lasting two to three hours, will mainly affect circuits where losses exceed 50%. In EdeSur, 90 of the 177 circuits will be included; in Ede Este, 174 of 309; and in EdeNorte, 152 of 392 circuits will be integrated into the plan.

Marranzini explained that the measure will remain in effect until losses are reduced to 25%, seeking to stabilize the electricity supply and improve the efficiency of the system.

The announcement has raised concerns among users and business sectors, who are awaiting additional details on the application and duration of these scheduled outages.

REMINDER: The title of the thread is:

Electricity Outages & Restoration Announcements

Not complaints about water, investing, etc. I let some posts slide because I didn't want to delete two dozen posts.

Back to announcements only and off-topic deletions are back.

At least my part of CABT102 has been without power since 12:00 Noon today. No notice on X of it being off for maintenance
Incidence report is 2025-6641. No idea what the problem actually is or when it will be back on.

Power out on at least CABT102 since just about 12 noon. Edenorte says on phone that it is a maintenance period and power will be back after 3 (but more likely closer to 6 ) PM.

First longer outage today, we've been without luz for 6.5 hours now. Was announced that it would end at 5pm, but was not the case.

Power off from 7:35 PM on CABT102 and probably Cabarete as well. No idea when it will be back on tonight.

Last night on CABT101 the power went on and off 3 times in one hour and then on and off again a couple times later on. It's done the same thing a couple times tonight. I've lost track whether I'm on street power or our planta right now(?).

Power just went out again on CABT101. It really is worse than 15 years ago before 24/7 power.
Yep, out on CABT102 as well at 12:40 PM. No planned outages and the reps says what they always say.
They are working on a problem. Edenorte showing that they still suck.

When 24/7 power was first installed in the Callejón many years ago, a lot of people stopped buying inversors and batteries because the outages were infrequent and of short duration. They're buying batteries and inversors again.

Go to the above site and hover over the QR code which takes you to a spreadsheet that shows CABT101 and CABT102 are off until 6 PM.

The reps you call don't tell you this. The incompetence is beyond belief.
