I hope it's not me, I can wait a while.
.... DEATH IN PARAISO
Who's going first ??
This brings up a serious question... at least for me.
Do they have cremation here? Yes? Where?
The funerals here put them in the ground quite quickly.. its hot!!
What will I do when/if I die here?
I have no trouble staying here... just how to handle it.
Funeral pyre an option??
"yust wrap me up in dus flagge and flott me out to da sea"
My old Viking friend always said this
Not so bad, huh?
So, new thread..... DEATH IN PARAISO

I asked my wife that if I pass way here in the State to take my ash and go to the very top of "El Monumento" in Satiago and spread it around but she don't wanna do so for this reason I need to make sure the day the death come for me I will be there.

It just so happens that my lawyer happened to mention to me last week that you can only be cremated in SD or Santiago but that not many do because it is very expensive.
AZB Where to you want to be buried, IF you die ?
WW
Atlanta, Georgia. Its my (family) home and I would like to be buried next to my parent's grave.

We will all remember that and try to see to your wishes.
If transporting your body becomes too much of a legal hassle .... cremation... and we can ship you like coffee......
Seriously, extricating a body from a country can be difficult.

Ive lived here for 3 years and do I want to move away from here? YES!!! Also, missing my 'home' and family and home comforts play a big role too.
Same here.
After more years here than I care to remember, I have considered checking out Colombia as well.
An exploratory trip is in the works in the near future.
