stay alerted, the Enemy is not the close vicinity of the Center, it is the now very wide spread dangerous Winds in the aftermath, while the Center is walking near the Northshore her little Babies brought up to Tropical Storm Force Winds to our SE and Eastern Regions all Night long. we had 37,phr Winds measured here last Night on the East, much more than when Irene was passing Us just 60Miles away from the same Locations.
while She will move away from Hispaniola during the next 48hrs Her aftermath will wander all the Island, those Winds and heaviest Rain can reach every Location on the Isle, it is not something solely for the Coastal Areas.
since it started yeasterday the Rain been on here on the East all Night long, at the moment it stopped but there is still a lot of dangerous Wind and Rain around the Island.
watch the Satellite Loops for the Movements of the Rainloads, they are the same Areas which contain the hardest Winds.
that Irene is quiet a piece of Gal, incredible Deveopments while under Interference of Land, I would have enjoyed to watch Her if She wouldn't have been right Here.
during the next 24hrs the Northshores should stay prepared for hard winds up to Tropical Storm Force, it will take 48hrs before it really calms down, don't plan any Travels out of Town before the weekend and do not underestimate the Heavy Waterloads in the Aftermath, they are much more than the Rains while the Storm passes by, and they are A LOT!.
to not get bored on Paradise Island we have of course the next Invest on the Maps, NOAA named it Invest 90L, this morning located SE of the Cape Verde Islands at "The Birthplace", looks very disorganized but is surrounded by very Favorable Conditions, so we may see some Organization there within a few Days. the System is wandering Straight West and got from the beginning the correct Lane on that wide Highway.
the Season started very Early and as mentioned before Peak Time will last til End October at least, we have still 9 weeks to go.
Emily been the first with potential to go Bad, we stayed lucky, Irene did it and will even grow up more, she will battle the US Eastshores for many consecutive Days, but even on that Ugly one we got lucky.
Hispaniola been for a Decade a No Show for the real Storms, I do not count smaller ones such as Jeanne which are inconvenient but far below the ugly Stuff, this early staring and quick uplining Season seems to end the Calm Times, even if Irene is all over and all is dry, watch the News at least once a Day and keep your Homes and Fridges Prepared.
