I bought some Johnsonville Brown Sugar and Honey link sausages.
I cooked them in a skillet. Friggin' delicious.
But on the instructions it said they could be cooked in an air fryer.
Can anyone tell me if this does a good job and are they browned?
I don't yet own an air fryer

If you have an oven (or toasrer oven) with convection, you don't need an air fryer. The convection does the rapid cooking and yes, the food browns.

They look awesome. Where did you buy them? I wanna get some. I've seen a lot of Johnsville sausages in the supermarkets here, but not those.

I've always nuked the daylights out of mine. Only takes about 45 seconds. Who cares if they're browned?

I was always against an Air Fryer, now I have found that it does cook well. Get an Air Fryer, we cooked some Jimmy Dean sausages in there and they were so good. I have now found a new passion, cooking in the Air Fryer.

No air fryer for me. I bought one. Used it 4 times and sold it. I think traditional cooking does a better job. Sorry to throw the damper on the discussion. P.S. I do not use a microwave either. And I try to stay away from imported foods. I want to know exactly what is in the food I am cooking. Thus, everything from scratch and so much healthier that way.

I am using the Air Fryer for chicken breasts (cut for tenders). I am not really big on sausage, but once in a while my spouse likes it. I did not like the Air Fryer at all at first but with the chicken I am really liking it. Honestly it seems a lot more tender. But being off topic...

Except for a few guilty pleasures, I am the same way.

I do have a microwave and will have an air fryer one of these days, but by and large, I have been eating healthier in the last 10 years than I have in my life. It's really easy to do here.

likewise, less alcohol and more fresh fruit from that massive market near the el presidente plant. The other vices I simple cannot shake.

Try the Maple Syrup ones delicious. I buy at jumbo and freeze. Then I boil a few at a time for breakfast. Boil to unfreeze and cook and fry to give colour.

All of the Johnsonville sausages are good IMHO.

They are my go-to whenever my Jimmy Dean sausage supply runs out.
