I don't have a bunch of tourists or locals close to me at the moment. At least not real close to me as in on my property. And I don't go out. At all.I suppose. I'm not the one at risk, Windy. You are quite literally in the crosshairs due to that policy.
You can keep on with the "nothing will change, you won't get what you want" attitude, but I don't have a bunch of tourists - and the locals they come into contact with - all around me.
Time for the DR to stop paying attention to the lunacy that makes for Covid-19 policy in the US, and start following what the wealthy western countries are doing.
Unless it is for government business. But yes, there is still risk.
Anyone who thinks they are not at risk of catching a very contagious disease like CV19 no matter where they are on the planet is deluding themselves.
The only thing I think will change is that people will be less and less willing to isolate over time.
The DR has decided to allow tourists to come as is. I think they are missing the money with tourism down 91%.
