Now it is 5:38 and it is a bit overcast and quite humid. The wind died completely. We had a beautiful breeze about 3pm today.

Sunday April 15

At 9:50 am local time we have another exceptional day! Yeah it is Sunday and I am off. So for my pool time, I have a bright blue sky with a light breeze and current temperatures of 84F but it feels hotter. Now for some sun screen and a drink with an umbrella, I am out of here. Any volunteers to help with the sun screen?

Hi believe it or not the weather is similar in England today, 75F, sunny sky and a light breeze, had to check the calender yes it is April16th. Unlike you Planner don't expect our beautiful weather to last much longer.

Planner looking at weather forecasts for the next 10 days its not looking good for the weather. Are you getting the same impression your end. It says there is going to be lots of showers with only like 3 hours of sunshine. Please say it isnt so

Just been looking at a 10 day forecast and it isn't that bad. I travel on may 6th and sincerely hope it is hot and sunny. But then again I will be on the Dominican Republic on holiday so I won't care.

Monday April 16

Another stunning day here in paradise. It is beautiful here, hot, sunny with a nice breeze.

STOP reading those long term forecasts! Even if there is a slight chance of a 10 minute shower somewhere the weather forecast will look aweful!!!

Tuesday April 17

We had some rain overnight and it is raining right now. AT 10 am we have some light showers but earlier it was heavier. I've looked at the satelite loops and this should pass quickly!

Of course the rain helps cool things down just a bit. After several straight days of hot sunny weather, this will let all the tourists give their sunburned skin a break.

I'm worried now

Man, I'm headed over there on Tuesday & I've been checking the weather & it doesn't look good. I'm coming from DC & our weather is awful! The forecasts say it's gonna rain every day, but it doesn't say if it's light rain or heavy rain. I don't mind a couple of minutes of rain, but an entire rainy day is a problem.

I am now praying that the weather is going to be beautiful while I'm there. I really want to hit the beach & drink in the sun!

Wednesday April 18

Good morning. We have a mixture of sun and clouds this morning. The rain yesterday was mostly in the morning and a light drizzle in the evening. The afternoon was quite nice! It is about 84F and humid today with almost no breeze at all.

Lady202 - read my previous posts please!!! STOP reading those weather forecasts, most likely they are incorrect. And for goodness sakes stop worrying - it is a complete waste of time. The weather will be what it is and worrying will NOT change a thing. As for a whole day of rain being a "problem" - get a grip. I guarantee you will see rain while you are here. But you will also have sunshine. Take it all in stride and decide ahead of time to enjoy your vacation.

Well this is my first weather report! Silly me, I volunteered to help so will do my best.

Today - hot and sunny, not looking like it will rain tonight. Some breeze right now which helps cool things off just a bit......

The sun will set tonight and I'm pretty sure it will come up tomorrow!

Tomorrow - not sure yet, I'll let you know what I see when I open my eyes!

The weather is beatiful to day at puerto plata, and it is as going as beach, i would tell you go and enjoy the day.

Saturday April 21

Good morning. Today we have overcast conditions this morning and we had some rain earlier on. It looks to be clearing now though. It is currently 80 F but feels much hotter. And yes it is humid today.

Sunset - hmmmmmm - I do believe it is about 7:00 to 7:15 pm. I will have to pay closer attention.
